MOAB
The following story has a few goals in mind. First, we want you to have fed on the road. Road Trip is easy, often much easier than you think. Secondly, anyone can go to Moab. There are a lot of different levels of the site. Three is the place to visit. At the turn around each blind spot, I thought I would see Jim Morrison stunned about how, in jeans, a shirt and a pair of leaflets. Our trip consisted of a Volvo station wagon, some life-saving rack Yakima, some camping gear and three good friends. PORCUPINE RIM
After 22 hours of driving, a fight between a couple and a lot of pressure off me and we were able to take a shuttle to the asshole Porcupine later, we were there. Moab Travel Tip 1: Most restaurants stop serving food at 10-ish. Unless you are on the gnarl they call food at Denny's to eat that you plan accordingly for the better. Tip 2: Do not drive with more than one spare tube, a switch chain, water pump, levers and allen key. Moab had a kind of beating motorcycle luggage to travel light and it is an off-road!
Amasa Back
We woke up the next day to unpleasantRulers are staring down (not cold). Our plan was another classic Moab Amasa Back the path taken. We also wanted to ensure a campsite for the rest of the week. On the advice of the people in general we decided to Moab Cyclery field line just west of the city on the Colorado River in an area shaded by trees and along the way Kane Creek. The camp is the base camp (no showers or running water). At five dollars a night, could not wait any longer. Moonflower is set to be created in a typical environment of Moab sandstone formations, and clear a lunar landscape. I would much prefer this place to our place, especially since it was free. However, it did not have much in terms of protection from the sun and was not lucky enough to be along the River. Escape to the sun in Moab, is revealed as a mission at times. Our position is well shaded and also offeredWe jumped into the river after a long hot race. I highly recommend this place if, like us, you are in Moab budget.
The Amasa Back Trail is too 'return' type ride. This area was on the western edge of the continent 200 million years, so it is loaded with bars and bizarre sandstone rock formations. We were from a location other than Amasa called 'Jackson', we decided to ask for advice. Jackson is for dreamers like me. Slick Rock
No trip to Moab riding experience would be complete without the famous "Slick Rock Trail. Of course it was to go next on the list of classics. This is the way to Moab, located on the map, so we were very happy to drive it and see what was the legend. Once again, the day has proved more than a mini-adventure than one way. The cycle is about 13 miles, which is short enough to Moab standards. It can be run in 2 1 / 2 to 3 hours, but it is necessary to consider the heat and challenge some of the 'to' sections. SOVEREIGN
The next morning we had smoothies at our new favorite stop in the country of Moab, the Tree of PeaceCafé. If you are in organic foods and treats I highly recommend this place to attend. According to our smoothies, we returned to camp the night before the survey damage. With a trip to the laundry room next 24 hours and the hot sun to dry things, and we were ready for the next adventure. We stopped at the Cyclery and after talking with some guests from Whistler experts (which I later realized was the family McSkimming - Rob has an important role in the Whistler Bike ParkDevelopment), we decided on our next trip will be sovereign, a relatively new paths to the north of the city in the mesas of the Klondike Bluffs low single-track.
